This one has already been welded on once before. It's like it wore a hole through the side of where the pin swivels. The pin that the machine swivels on is where all the oil is running out of. Well I can't really figure out where the leak is. Yep, Dad's old Hesston 1014 tongue broke (lost all oil ) and had to be bent back and welded, THEN added long "fish plates" to both sides and welded them on = all OK. Some of today's tractors could directly run a hydro swing without breaking a sweat. What kind of tractor are you running it with? Has anyone tried it or do I start cutting younger apart. Too much heat, but they run air drills from tractors?. Right now it uses the pto pump, but why not run it directly from tractor hydraulics?. Why can't I just plumb it from the tractor. So since winter is here it's time to fix. Some how in the middle of haying I managed to crack the tongue and lost all the oil.
